The Annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Community Celebration is a beautiful tradition that brings community members together in a meaningful way. The Dia de los Muertos Celebration is an event that wonderfully captures how we honor the memories of loved ones and foster solidarity among community members as they come together to celebrate culture and familia. This event is free and open to all! During this celebration residents, schools, and local agencies walk together from Cypress Park Branch Library to The Los Angeles River Center and Gardens (1 mile) to strengthen and educate one another about the important issues in their neighborhoods. Come and join the celebration of our Annual Dia de los Muertos Community Celebration with your family. It is a safe place to enjoy food, music, resource fair, entertainment, and stunning art installations created with Mujeres de la Tierra staff, partners, and community members.
