Pláticas
The idea to launch the Pláticas surfaced in the summer of 2017 when members of the community expressed an eagerness to become leaders in their communities but didn’t know where to start. Pláticas is a series of lectures, conversations, and gatherings to discuss the many facets of leadership. One of Mujeres' key goals is to inspire women, specifically mothers, to lead and own challenges addressing the educational needs of their children through capacity building, training, and inspiration.

Mujeres de la Tierra initiated a Mujeres Pláticas Training, “Rompiendo Barreras con la Tecnología” (Breaking through the obstacles of Technology). Laptops were purchased to help community members acquaint themselves with the many learning available through technology. For this reason, many parents were able to help their children navigate online learning platforms during distance instruction.
