Dia de los Muertos Community Procession

Our Dia de los Muertos community procession is FREE for everyone. It was created to bring the local neighborhoods together and celebrate the traditions and culture of Dia de los Muertos. We connect community members and organizations in this celebration of remembrance and respect of our ancestors.

We ask participants to park at the LA River center and gardens (570 W Ave 26, LA 90065) and we will provide a shuttle to take them to the the Cypress park library (1150 Cypress ave, LA 90065)

The Procession starts at the Cypress park Library  and we parade for 3 blocks with community members, classic cars, organizations, Aztec dancers and many more in their best Dia de los Muertos Attire. Remember to wear comfy shoes and to bring a flashlight or your favorite glow in the dark lights. We want to respect the Día de los Muertos tradition, so we ask that no NO Halloween costumes are worn.

At the end of our procession, we will have music, food, and refreshments for everyone. We will also have resource tables that will give you the opportunity to meet local organizations doing incredible work in our neighborhood.

Don't miss this excellent opportunity to meet more people in your community and have fun while we honor and celebrate this beautiful tradition.

Because we do provide refreshments we ask that you register for this event
