El Monte

Mujeres de la Tierra-El Monte is a strong and successful chapter.  Led by Maria Valdez,, the Mujeres are working on several key neighborhood projects including an mosaic art project for their neighborhood park:  Gibson Mariposa Park.  Funded by the California Community Foundation, the first set of multicolored butterflies, dragon flys and flowers were

made using colorful tile.  Community residents of all ages participated.  If you would like to show off your creative talents and make mosaic tiles for the Mariposa Park. call Dayna at 626.277.6610.
